Culture Squad

Mark Nannup is young Yamaji/Noongar man from Meekatharra and Port Hedland in Western Australia who relocated to Melbourne in 2011 to take up an appointment with Crown Resorts. Prior to this, he was employed with Crown Resorts in WA where he completed a Certificate III in Hospitality. Mark also worked in mining engineering and site geology during which time he received on-the-job training to be a mine technician.

Mark has a keen interest in the media, performing arts and theatre and has worked with local Sydney-based Aboriginal radio station (Gadigal) before undertaking a 12-month traineeship at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) foundation course. Combining his passion for theatre production and acting, Mark is currently in his second year of Acting at the VCA and would love to work in narrating once he finishes his degree.
