Clint is a proud Iman man, originally from Darumbal Country in Rockhampton, Queensland where he grew up surrounded by his community Elders and family. He is undertaking a Sustainable Systems Engineering course at RMIT in Melbourne, and is one of only a handful of First Nations people studying engineering, which makes him proud to represent his community in the field.
Clint has proven to be a great mentor for younger students, specifically within the engineering field, and has been involved in various activities and events that raise the aspirations of young Aboriginal students within Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. He is seeking to combine his passion of caring for Country and his current studies to promote sustainable practices within this nation which keep our stories and culture alive.
Clint hopes to learn, listen and develop knowledge practices about suicide prevention to help wherever possible within the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
